Awards Nominations
NCSITE AWARDS NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
It is awards season for NCSITE! Nominations received by September 30 will be considered for this year’s awards. Any nominations received after that date will be considered for the next year’s awards.
Please submit your nominations for NCSITE awards now. Awards for several individual/member awards and the outstanding project award will be presented at the annual meeting this November.

The recipients for the awards listed below will be announced at the NCSITE Annual Meeting. Consideration may be given for a separate awards program if special issues arise with the recipient.
INDIVIDUAL/MEMBERS AWARDS

Outstanding Project Award
Deadline: September 30
The NCSITE Outstanding Project Award is bestowed on a project that applied innovative techniques to a transportation-related issue/problem in a planning, design, or operations effort.
This award is not intended for research or construction projects. Projects that will benefit the profession through a greater understanding of a transportation issue and for the betterment of the public through effective and innovative solutions are encouraged to be submitted for consideration. The emphasis is on an applied project that has demonstrated characteristics as defined in the criteria below.
ELIGIBILITY
- A project that has reached substantial completion within the two years prior to submission.
- A NCSITE member or affiliate should have had a significant role in the project.

Open to projects in planning, design, or operations.
Evaluation Criteria

Submission
Please submit your project using the form provided here.
Also, please submit a high-quality image (JPG, PNG, GIF format/landscape orientation / 1200 x 450 pixels) representing the project to this online folder.
You may submit an accompanying PDF project summary sheet of no more than 2 pages to the same folder above.
Selection
The NCSITE Awards Committee will send you a confirmation of our receipt of your submission and review it to determine whether it qualifies and is a finalist for this year’s award.
If your project is accepted as a finalist, it may be used as a feature project on the NCSITE.org home page for a period of one month.
Finalists will also be asked to present their project at the NCSITE Annual Meeting as part of the technical agenda.
If your project is selected as the NCSITE Outstanding Project of the Year, it will be featured on the NCSITE.org website for at least three months and included in the project slides for at least one year.
