2018 Wilmington River-To-Sea Bike Ride

NCSITE is the proud registration sponsor of Wilmington’s River-to-Sea Bike Ride.

The 29th Annual River to Sea Bike Ride will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018.

The ride, which is a casual ride along the former Beach Car Line and back, will leave downtown Wilmington at 7am, reach Wrightsville Beach Park at about 8:15-8:30 am, and return to downtown by 10:15-10:30 am. Light refreshments will be served at the turnaround point in Wrightsville Beach.

Please note that the ride start time has been moved up to 7AM – an hour earlier than past years!

The ride is open to cyclists of all skill levels, however please remember this is a 20-mile, roundtrip ride and may be difficult for younger children. For safety reasons, late arrivals will not be able to join the ride. Helmets are mandatory and riding is mostly on-road in mixed traffic. Police support will be provided along the way.

Check in will be available starting at 6:00am at 12 N. Front Street. The ride will depart promptly at 7 am and the estimated total ride time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Just bring your bike & your helmet & get ready to ride!  For more information, please visit www.rivertoseabikeway.com
