The North Carolina Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, known as NCSITE, is a professional society of persons involved in transportation engineering activities. It is affiliated with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), an international professional society of transportation engineers.
There are 4 Councils of NCSite that serve the membership in leadership, outreach and advancement.
Fostering leadership development and activities designed to identify and address strategic and emerging issues for the transportation profession.
Promoting professional development and providing fellowship and networking for members of the North Carolina transportation engineering and planning community.
Developing traffic engineering and related training, technical support to transportation policies, and networking for members of the North Carolina transportation community.
CONSULTANT / VENDOR
Coordinating the private consulting and supply community with the mission and goals of NCSITE. Provides support for the meetings and seminars in partnership with the other three NCSITE councils.
The NCSite Awards Program recognizes outstanding service and commitment by members through a variety of awards. The Awards Committee receives nominations each year from our membership for all of the Award categories and then strives to honor the most deserving individuals for that year.
