Transportation Project Manager-Raleigh or Charlotte (NC)


Responsibilities: Serving as the project manager on turn-key projects; maintaining budgets, scopes, and schedules; leading roadway design tasks; developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates, and reports; leading proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates; performing QA/QC tasks; and mentoring project staff. A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have all of the following:

  • a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field;
  • at least eight years of relevant work experience; and
  • a PE license in any state with ability to obtain in North Carolina within six months of start date

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: NCDOT policies and procedures; project management including scheduling, establishing budgets, preparing invoices, and client relations; broad transportation engineering project; Microstation and GEOPAK; design build projects; corridor modeling and/or ORD.
