Airport Engineering Seminar October 15-16

What is this about?

This program will provide attendees with information on the latest methods and trends in concrete and asphalt pavements, materials testing, airport construction project management and more. Attendees will see real-time examples with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) Airport where a $2.5 billion dollar expansion is underway.

Who’ll be there?

This inaugural seminar will feature presentations by industry, government, and academic experts in airport design, construction, operation, and maintenance. The host, UNC Charlotte’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and Infrastructure, Design, Environment, and Sustainability (IDEAS) Center, have partnered with CLT and the Carolinas Aviation Museum.
