NCSITE Wins 2017 ITE International Section Activities Award

TORONTO, ON CANADA — North Carolina Section received the Section Activities Award at the Joint ITE/CITE 2017 Annual Meeting and Exhibit, held July 30–August 2, in Toronto, ON, Canada.

The North Carolina Section of ITE (NCSITE) provides exciting and innovative programs for its members including graduating nine Protégées from its Mentor-Protégée program. In addition, after voting on a significant bylaws change, the Section successfully implemented a new organizational structure to provide better service to its member and the industry.

The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is an international membership association of transportation professionals who work to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users and help build smart and livable communities.
